Visual study resources for the ATI TEAS, organized around Reading, Mathematics, Science, and English and Language Usage. Start with a small idea. Build from there.
Four visual study guides · Free mini lessons · 30 timed mock exams
MEET YOUR FOUR STUDY SIDEKICKS
A little clarity. A lot less overwhelm.
Try these original mini lessons. No login. No timer. No pressure.
01 · READING
Find the big idea hiding in the details.
Main ideas, evidence, inferences, and the way an author builds a message.
Detective hat: optional. Evidence: essential.
MINI LESSON · MAIN IDEA
The main idea is what the whole passage is mostly about.
“The campus library added quiet rooms, longer evening hours, and more charging stations. Together, these changes give students more ways to find a study space that fits their needs.”
Big idea: The library is making study spaces more useful for students.
Supporting details: quiet rooms, evening hours, and charging stations.
Ask: “Which idea connects all the details?” A small fact may be true without being the main idea.
02 · MATHEMATICS
Make the numbers make sense.
Build your foundation with fractions, percentages, proportions, algebra, and measurement.
Math has steps. You don’t have to leap.
MINI LESSON · PROPORTIONS
Find one unit. Then scale it up.
A student answers 12 practice questions in 20 minutes. At the same pace, how many in 35 minutes?
1
Find the rate.12 ÷ 20 = 0.6 questions per minute
2
Multiply by the new time.0.6 × 35 = 21 questions
3
Check if it makes sense.More time → more questions. ✓
Explore anatomy and physiology, biology, chemistry, and scientific reasoning.
Your “aha!” moment is in here somewhere.
MINI LESSON · CELL STRUCTURES
A tiny tour of a human cell.
Nucleus
Holds most of the cell’s DNA, which contains instructions used by the cell.
Ribosomes
Build proteins using instructions carried by messenger RNA.
Mitochondria
Produce much of the ATP used to power cell activities through aerobic respiration.
Cell membrane
Helps regulate what enters and leaves the cell.
Cover the descriptions. Can you explain each structure in your own words?
04 · ENGLISH & LANGUAGE USAGE
Give your ideas a clear voice.
Practice sentence structure, punctuation, word choice, vocabulary, and the writing process.
Commas: small marks. Surprisingly big personalities.
MINI LESSON · SENTENCE BOUNDARIES
Two complete thoughts need the right connection.
✕ The lesson was challenging, Maya kept practicing.
✓ The lesson was challenging, but Maya kept practicing.
✓ The lesson was challenging; Maya kept practicing.
Both parts can stand alone as sentences. Connect them with a comma and a coordinating conjunction, or use a semicolon.
MAKE ROOM FOR A SMALL WIN
A plan that starts where you are.
Choose a focus and a realistic daily study window.
A flexible starting routine, not a complete exam preparation schedule. Adjust it to your exam date and learning needs.
PUT YOUR STUDY SESSION TO WORK
Read. Recall. Take the next step.
Our complete TEAS visual guide collection covers all four subjects. Pair a focused lesson with a timed practice exam, then use your answer report to choose what to revisit.
These are original mini lessons and supplementary study tools, not official exam questions. Check current exam information and the requirements of your chosen school before preparing.
